Count currently has one option: Receive, which works in conjunction with Inventory.
NOTE: For additional information about some fields in Receive, refer to the Help for Inventory Receipts in the Inventory module, as the functionality is similar.
Using the Receive Feature
The Receive feature provides users with the ability to receive inventory, as you can do in the Inventory module with the menu item, Transactions—Inventory Receipts. Receive has been designed with simplicity in setup and ease of use as the primary focuses.
There are three screens used in the work flow: Receive, Receipt Items, and Receipt Item Details.
Procedures
Use these three screens to directly receive (and optionally drop ship) Inventory Items for a Warehouse or multiple Warehouses from a single vendor.
The initial screen, Receive, shows a list of existing Receipts and a value associated with each. On this screen, you can add a new Receipt, or edit or delete an existing Receipt.
The details on the Receipt Item Details screen vary based on user input and settings. These sections appear on the screen.
Document ID
The Document ID for the Receipt.
Accounting date
Defaults to login date. Edit the date, if necessary.
Receipt or an Inventory Credit
The Type of the receipt is either a Receipt (default) or an Inventory Credit.
Vendor
The vendor can be selected using a lookup.
Prorate Amount
The dollar amount, if applicable, to be prorated (distributed) for the Warehouse Item being received.
Batch
The user needs to select a batch when recording transactions and when using Value Inventory. The user can either select one of the existing batches available using the Batch lookup, or have the system auto-create one.
- To allow the system to auto-create a batch, user must select the last listed batch within the Batch lookup, which is “AUTO GENERATE BATCH.”
- The auto generated Batch ID has the format “IR0000000N” where 0000000N is a number.
WAREHOUSE ITEMS (TOTAL AMOUNT: 0.00)
To add a new Warehouse Item to be received, the user taps on the blank line within the WAREHOUSE ITEMS section to open the Receipt Item Details screen.
IMAGES INITIALLY ADDED ONLY
The Receipt Items screen can be used to capture and save IMAGES and associate these images as Documents for the Inventory Receipt. Only newly added images display here.
The details on the Receipt Item Details screen vary based on user input and settings. These sections appear on the screen.

NOTE: Refer to the Help for Inventory Receipts for details about Tax fields.
